Membership in IRCO Community Federal Credit Union is currently open to people who live, work, worship, attend school, volunteer or regularly conduct business in the businesses and other legal entities located in the Town of Phillipsburg, the Borough of Alpha and the Townships of Franklin, Greenwich, Harmony, Lopatcong and Pohatcong, New Jersey.
Those persons who are eligible for membership with IRCO also can extend their membership to their immediate family, which includes spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, or grandchild. Of course, this would also include stepparents, stepchildren, stepsiblings, and adoptive relationships. It is not necessary to reside with the member, although all members of the same household who live together as part of a single family unit (including resident domestic employees) are eligible to join IRCO. Retirees of our parent companies are also included under IRCO's eligiblility requirements.
Employees of area businesses that have been approved for membership with IRCO by the National Credit Union Association (NCUA), but are located outside our geographic area, are also eligible to join.
"Once a Member, Always a Member" means that if a member leaves the employment of one of our participating companies, (including retirees) membership with IRCO may still be maintained.
A minimum deposit of $5.00 is required to open a share savings account.
